Things to try

  1. Find a sampleType a code, a patient, or a word from the notes. Try PL-2026-00412.
  2. Open a boxBox 14 in Freezer −80 °C A, with every tube in its position. Tap a free position to add a sample there.
  3. Move a sample and check its historyChange its position or status, save, and open the History tab: it records who, when, and what it had before.
  4. Book an instrumentThe schedule shows who has each instrument and when. Pick a free slot: two bookings never overlap.
  5. Check an instrument's pageFreezer −80 °C A: its maintenance plan, the work done on it, its issues, and which samples it holds.
  6. Use a supplySearch for ethanol, for example: Vialo suggests the lot that expires first and deducts what you used.
  7. Check the freezer temperaturesReadings come in on their own every two minutes. Someone just opened the fridge: it goes out of range, but comes back before the delay, so there's no alarm.
  8. Log an alarmFreezer −80 °C B warmed up yesterday and nobody wrote down what happened. Look at the chart and log the corrective action: it's kept for audits.
